about

“We originally wrote this as an instrumental track but it’s importance to us and our friends who heard it encouraged the words we added”
J + S

The melodic fingerpicking takes you on a journey and promises to bring you back. The Cello adds depth and emotion which glides us to the vocals. Here the honest words reflect the conversation between two souls, on a different wavelength. The pair walk on together as they discuss what their future holds.

lyrics

Lyrics
Say it ain’t so as we walk in the rain,
Forgive my boldness will you be happy again?
Do you taste all of your food with such a delight?

And what you said? Never felt
So wrong
And what you said? Never felt
So wrong

Hold back what you know, I forget what I was saying,
Contained in her Kindness she became my new friend,
But misunderstood could become I, becoming the path becoming the light

And what you said? Never felt
So wrong
What you said? Never felt
So wrong

live shows consist of 2 intimate, tender vocals with acoustic guitar navigating the melody.

While recording we like to build our songs with more depth and instrumentation, with aspirations of adding personnel to live shows eventually.
